2016 Cardinal Follies at NCHS Nov. 17-20

Nelson County High School’s Cardinal Theatre Association will present the 2016 Cardinal Follies Nov. 17-20. Cardinal Follies is a variety show with a mix of classic TV comedy sketches and Broadway showstoppers. 

This year’s sketches will include scenes from The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy, Saturday Night Live and Hee Haw. The featured Broadway shows will include Grease, The Secret Garden, Hairspray and West Side Story

Performances are Thursday, Nov. 17 with Richard Blanton, a 1986 NCSHS graduate, as the guest host; Friday, Nov. 18 with Matthew Fogle, a 2000 NCHS graduate, as guest host; Saturday, Nov. 19 with Pat Berry, a 1971 NCSHS graduate, and Megan Berry Perin, a 2000 NCHS graduate, hosting; and Sunday, Nov. 20 with Marc Monroe, a 1999 NCHS graduate, as host.

Thursday through Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s matinee is at 2 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students, seniors and Nelson County School District employees.
